The Holiday Cottage is a stone semi-detached south facing cottage surrounded by a large garden with plenty of lawn space. Set within the boundaries of the picturesque North York Moors National Park the views and scenery are wonderful.

The village of Appleton Le Moors is 5 miles from Kirkbymoorside and within easy reach of York and the coast. The nearest train station is a 20 minute drive away at Malton and from here it is 25 minutes by train to York.

The holiday cottage is just outside the village set in a peaceful location on a working farm. From the farm there are numerous footpaths and bridleways over the moors and after a hard days walk there are plenty of pubs in the local villages serving fine food as well as a brewery at Cropton.

Horses are very welcome. The farm includes a small private livery yard with excellent facilities and access to numerous bridleways across the moor and through the forestry. In the winter there is plenty of local hunting and over the summer many local shows and endurance rides.
